NOTICE OF SOLICITATION OF CANDIDATES – TOWN OF FELTON 2024 COUNCIL ELECTION

There are two (2) Council Positions Available each having a three (3) year term. To be qualified to run for Felton Town Council you must:
be 21 years of age, be a citizen of the United States, have been a bona fide resident of the Town of Felton for one year prior to election day and have never been convicted of a felony or crime of moral turpitude.

To declare candidacy submit a signed and dated letter requesting that your name be added to the 2024 Council Election ballot with a Town of Felton Affidavit of Qualification Candidate Filing FormOpen this document with ReadSpeaker docReader (available at Town Hall, by mail, fax or email) and State Campaign Finance Certification of Intention Form (online at https://cfrs.elections.delaware.gov/ ).

Filing Deadline is January 19, 2024
All letters of candidacy must be received at Felton Town Hall by 4pm.

2023 FELTON TOWN COUNCIL ANNUAL ELECTION 

March 6, 2023 from 1:00 – 7:00 pm at Felton Town Hall, 24 E Sewell Street.  Inclement weather date is March 7, 2023.  Three (3) Council Positions are included in this election and there are five (5) candidates.  The candidates are:

Marquise Broom

Joanne Clendaniel

Diana Dolan – Beulah

David Kelley

Deborah Virdin 

To be able to vote in this election you must be registered with the State of Delaware.  Each voter must present proof of identity and address in order to vote at the election.  Absentee ballots are available for this election if you will not be able to vote in person.  Please contact Amy at 302-284-9365 or athomas@townoffelton.com.
