Date Posted: Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020There are two (2) Council Positions Available each having a three (3) year term. To be qualified to run for Felton Town Council you must: be 21 years of age, be a citizen of the United States, have been a bona fide resident of the Town of Felton for one year prior to election day and have never been convicted of a felony or crime of moral turpitude. To declare candidacy submit a signed and dated letter requesting that your name be added to the 2021 Council Election ballot with a Town of Felton Affidavit of Qualification Candidate Filing Form (available at Town Hall, by mail, fax or email) and State Campaign Finance Certification of Intention Form Campaign Finance Form(also available at Town Hall or online at www.elections.delaware.gov). We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Mayor for his many dedicated years of service to our community. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors. We are pleased to announce that Joanne Clendaniel has been selected to be the new Mayor for the Town of Felton. Joanne has been on Council for 14 years.
